Importing a GAEB file (*.x83)
FUTURA Engineering supports the import of a GAEB file for data exchange DA83 in XML format. To import a GAEB file; proceed as follows:
In the tree, select the position (red folder). Attention: The position must not contain any elements!
Click on the button "Import/Export > Import DA83"
Select the file in your Windows environment and start the import. A GAEB file can be up to 16 MB in size.
After successful import, the items list is displayed under the red folder.
If an unknown unit appears in your import file for the items list (GAEB or Excel), you will receive the following information:
Mapping of units with existing ones
You can then select the appropriate unit from the drop-down window. By clicking on "Next" the import continues and the unknown unit is replaced by the selected unit during import. If other units are unknown, the notification window appears again.
