Tab Messages in the request

Note:

The tab "Messages" is only visible when the request is started!

 

Here you can send information about the request by message to the selected suppliers, who will receive the message by system mail. Likewise, the function can also be used by the suppliers to ask e.g., questions about the request. Thus, a messaging system is available to you, which supports you in communication with the suppliers.

 

The table displays the following information about a message, among others:

You can define the message type in the master files for each type of transaction

User (supplier or AG) who created the message

= Recipient

 User (supplier or AG) to whom the message is delivered

Date/time of message creation

 

Double-click to open a message in a pop window.

 

To create a new message:

As soon as the request has been started (status = running), you can send messages to the supplier group of the request participants. To create a new message, click on the "New" button. The following window opens:

The recipient(s) (field "To") can be selected by the Client using the button. A window opens in which all suppliers assigned to the request are displayed with the selected contact person. suppliers marked with a check mark are transferred to the recipient list.

You can define the message types (e.g., fault, completion, question, appointment) in the Administration > Master Data management area > message type.

 

When you click on "Send", the message will be sent to the selected group of participants by e-mail. The message cannot be changed afterwards.

 

Message from the supplier:

The supplier can only create a message if the request is in the status "running". The system automatically adopts the contact person of the request (tab "Header data") as the recipient (field "To") and cannot be changed.
