Release of version 5.2

You can now copy all types of requests available in FUTURA Engineering including their contents. This saves you from having to create new requests if you want to reuse parts of the information and settings for the new request. Regardless of its status, you can now find the copy function above the tabs in every request.

To use this feature, your administrator must assign the appropriate permission to the roles. The permission is located in the roles under Permissions and Requests

→ set permission Copy Request.

In FUTURA Engineering, you can now use sample items lists from SAP. These are made available in the FUTURA database and you can have them imported into your request types Request for Quotation, Contract Request and Free Quotation Request with a mouse click. Use a selection window to select one of the saved sample items lists from the database and use it in your request.

As of this version, you will find a new "SAP" tab in your personal user data, so that you can optionally preset your standardized SAP organizational data. This means that they are automatically inherited to all your newly created transactions without having to assign them again. Of course, it is still possible to customize the organizational data for individual processes.

By defaulting to a minimum number of suppliers, you can specify as an administrator the minimum number of supplier companies in the request for quotation and Free quotation request in order for them to be started.

With the purchase requisition creation process out of FUTURA Engineering, you can send the short description of the orders, so that it will be included to it in SAP. The short description is entered in the header note of the purchase requisition in the SAP system.

With the use of the purchase requisition import process, you can import them including service lines into FUTURA Engineering. The items list contained in the purchase requisition is presented as such in the usual GAEB logic in FUTURA Engineering and is available to purchasers and suppliers in the usual manner for processing in requests and/or orders.

The field for the external service number, which is used, among other things, to create contract agreements in SAP, can now be filled out freely. This is also taken into account for the items list import via Excel.

For the supplier, this is displayed as a default and cannot be changed in the Request for Quotation and Contract Request.

On the other hand, for the RFQ types Cost Estimate and Free Quotation Request, in which the items list creation is completely disposed to the supplier, the field is optionally made available during the quotation creation.
